"When faced with a mountain I will not quit,
I will keep striving until I climb over, find a pass through, tunnel underneath or simply stay
and turn the mountain into a gold mine"

—Robert H. Schuller

About Me

My love for photography has emerged from wanting to further explore and capture elements from different interests and passions in my life including a love for animals and travel, fulfilling a career in science, and being the proud mother of a wildly imaginative daughter.

Being a scientist, innovator, and mom, I wear many hats (and collect them too!) and these different roles bring a unique perspective to my photography. I enjoy the technical and creative challenge of creating an image from an idea in my head, as well as capturing the mood and emotion of a fleeting moment. I am constantly amazed at the miracles found in nature and the beauty we are surrounded by in this world.

My passion for visual storytelling has led to being published in National Geographic's YourShot and I hope that my photography resonates with you and inspires you to marvel at the gifts found in life.
